In this episode of Antiques Road Trip, two expert antiques dealers, James Braxton and Charles Hanson, embark on a journey through Yorkshire in search of hidden treasures to sell at auction. The dynamic duo start their trip in the town of Skipton where they meet up with local experts to help guide them to the best antique shops in the area.

Their first stop is at a market where they find some interesting pieces, including a rare 18th-century snuff box shaped like a pig which Charles manages to bargain down to a lower price. They also stumble upon an elegant Georgian desk, but their excitement is short-lived as the sellers are asking too much for it.

Next, they head to a stunning country house where they explore the collection of 18th and 19th-century furniture. Charles finds a pair of stylish chairs that he believes will do well at auction. Meanwhile, James discovers an oak dresser from the late 18th century that could fetch a good price if they can secure it for the right price.

After lunch, the pair head to a local auction house where they hope to snag a few bargains. They come across a striking Art Deco style statue that captures their attention, but the bidding gets fierce and they're forced to back out before the price rises too high. They also spot a set of charming pottery teacups that they believe will appeal to collectors.

Moving on to another antique shop, they stumble upon a vintage bronze statue of a horse which they think will be a great investment piece, but the seller is asking a high price. They also discover a collection of retro cameras that could fetch a decent return if they can get them at the right price.

In their final stop of the day, James and Charles visit a magnificent country estate where they explore a collection of antique furniture and paintings. Charles becomes enamored with a portrait of a woman and decides to test his luck at negotiating the price with the seller. Meanwhile, James discovers an antique 18th-century mirror that he believes is worth a small fortune.

As the day winds down, James and Charles must make some tough decisions about which items to purchase and which to leave behind. They put their negotiating skills to the test and try to secure the best deals possible before heading to the auction to see how their items fare.

The episode ends with the anticipation of the auction and the excitement of seeing how much profit James and Charles can make from their finds. Will they come out on top or will some items fall short? Tune in to find out!

Overall, Episode 5 of Antiques Road Trip Season 11 is a thrilling episode filled with stunning antiques, expert negotiating skills, and the anticipation of seeing how much profit the dealers can make at auction. The breathtaking scenery of Yorkshire serves as the perfect backdrop for this exciting journey.
