In season 11, episode 14 of Antiques Road Trip, our expert antique dealers are back on the road as they embark on yet another adventure of exploring the UK in search of valuable antiques. As always, their goal is to buy low and sell high at auction and earn as much profit as possible.
In this episode, two of the show's seasoned experts, Natasha Raskin Sharp and Charles Hanson, take on the challenge of travelling through England's south-eastern counties. Natasha is an avid antique enthusiast with years of experience in the business. She has an eye for unique items and is quick to spot something valuable. Her counterpart, Charles, is an equally skilled dealer and auctioneer with a charming personality that he uses to his advantage when striking deals with antique owners.
This segment takes place over five days, starting from Essex, before moving on to Suffolk and Kent, then ending in East Sussex. The expert duo will be driving in a vintage car, heading from one antiques shop to another. Along the way, they'll be meeting with some of the region's leading antique traders and collectors to uncover long-forgotten hidden treasures.
Their first stop is at an antiques fair in Essex, where both dealers put their hunting skills to the test as they search for the perfect items to make a profit at auction. They encounter a few rare finds, and Natasha is pleased with what she has found, but will they sell well at auction? The two competitors then move on to the next location, a dealership in Suffolk that specializes in antique furniture. They find a striking set of chairs that date back to the Regency period.
After a great day finding hidden treasures, the two dealers take a break and relax at a local pub where Charles introduces Natasha to a local delicacy - jellied eels. Will Natasha be able to stomach the dish?
Next, the duo visits an antique gallery located in Kent. The gallery showcases a collection of rare vintage items such as vintage cameras, antique watches, jewelry, and more. Both Nathasha and Charles find themselves captivated by the beautiful antiques on display and the stories behind them.
The antique dealers then make their way to their last location, East Sussex, where they visit a location with a truly unique item which could potentially be worth thousands - will they strike lucky at the auction, or will it be a flop?
Throughout the show, both dealers exhibit their expertise and feel their way through the antiques world, striking deals with traders, bargaining with owners, and being tested as they purchase antiques in the hope of selling them for a nice profit at auction.
As well as the competition, the series is also known for its stunning views and insights into the local culture. By traveling through different regions, the show highlights various cultural practices, traditions and quirks which are unique to different parts of England.
In conclusion, season 11, episode 14 of Antiques Road Trip is full of excitement, discovery, and expert antique dealing skills that are sure to captivate viewers. As always, Natasha and Charles make sure the journey is an enjoyable adventure for both themselves and their audience.
