Antiques Road Trip is back with its 10th season and episode 5 is yet another exciting one. The show follows a group of antique experts and dealers as they travel around the UK in search of valuable and interesting antiques to buy and sell at the auction.

In episode 5, the two experts, Paul Laidlaw and Natasha Raskin Sharp, start their journey in Oban, a port town on the west coast of Scotland. They both start their day by visiting different antique shops and markets in Oban. They are both familiar with each other's tactics and the competition between them is tough. Paul decides to go for the safe option and buy a set of antique books worth around £50, while Natasha goes for a unique and rare African mask, worth £80.

After their first stop, the experts head towards their next destination, Inverary. Inverary is a small town located in the western part of Scotland. The town is known for its historic castle, which is now a popular tourist destination. The experts visit a local antique shop and are surprised to find a rare Scottish silver sugar caster, which dates back to the 18th century. The sugar caster is valued at around £500 and both experts are keen to buy it. After some fierce negotiation, Natasha ends up buying it for £450.

The next stop for the experts is the coastal town of Helensburgh. They both visit different antique shops in the town and are surprised to find some interesting items. Paul goes for a rare advertising poster from the early 20th century, which features a famous Scottish whisky brand. The poster is valued at around £200. Natasha decides to buy a vintage silver plated teapot with a unique design, which is valued at £80.

After a long day of antique hunting, the experts head towards their hotel in Glasgow. They both take their items to a local auction house to get them valued before the auction. The valuer is impressed with all the items and values Paul's items at £340 and Natasha's items at £610. They both head back to their hotel to have a good night's sleep before the auction.

The next day, the experts head towards the auction house in Glasgow for the big day. The auction house is packed with different antique dealers and collectors who are eager to buy something new and unique. The auctioneer starts off with Paul's lot, the set of antique books. There is some interest, but they only sell for £60, which means Paul makes a loss of £10. Natasha's first lot is up next, the African mask. There is a lot of interest and the mask sells for £140, which means Natasha makes a profit of £60.

The auction continues, and both experts struggle to make a profit on their items. Paul's poster sells for only £80, meaning he makes a loss of £120. Natasha's silver plated teapot sells for £60, which means she makes a loss of £20. However, the auction takes a positive turn when the last item, the silver sugar caster, is up for auction. There is a lot of interest, and the sugar caster sells for £620, which means Natasha makes a profit of £170.

At the end of the auction, Paul's total profit is minus £150, while Natasha's total profit is £210. Natasha is declared the winner of the episode and is very pleased with her victory. The episode ends with the experts discussing their experience and sharing their thoughts on the antiques they bought and sold. They both agree that it was a tough competition, but it was a great experience overall.
