PatANT Pending is the twenty-third episode of the first season of the Disney Channel sitcom, A.N.T. Farm. The episode aired on November 25th, 2011 and was directed by Jon Rosenbaum and written by Jeny Quine and Erika Kaestle.
The episode revolves around the young and talented students of Advanced Natural Talents (A.N.T) Program at Webster High School, where they must complete a project to gain extra credit for their skills. However, things take a turn for the worse when Olive Doyle's (played by Sierra McCormick) aunt, who is also her guardian, comes to visit her at school.
Patricia "Pat" Knight (played by Mindy Sterling) is a strict and uptight woman who doesn't believe that Olive should be in the A.N.T Program. She thinks that her niece should be focusing on more practical skills and tries to persuade Olive to abandon her dream of being in the program.
Meanwhile, Cameron Parks (played by Carlon Jefferey) and Fletcher Quimby (played by Jake Short) are building a functional robot for the A.N.T Project. However, they encounter some difficulties when the robot starts malfunctioning, causing chaos in the school.
As Olive tries to hide her involvement in the A.N.T Project from her aunt, the dysfunctional robot wreaks havoc on the school. Chyna Parks (played by China Anne McClain) and Lexi Reed (played by Stefanie Scott) try to contain the situation while keeping their classmates and teachers from discovering their secret project.
With time running out and the robot getting increasingly out of control, Olive must convince her aunt that her participation in the A.N.T Program is important. As the chaos becomes too overwhelming, the students of the A.N.T Program must come together to stop the robot before it causes any more damage.
The episode ends with a heartwarming moment when Olive's aunt finally understands how much the A.N.T Program means to her niece and encourages her to pursue her dreams.
Overall, PatANT Pending is a thrilling and engaging episode that showcases the talents of the young actors in the A.N.T Program while also highlighting the importance of following your dreams and staying true to yourself.
