Annedroids season 3 episode 8, titled "Robomutt," begins with Anne and her friends creating a robotic dog that they can play with, name, and take care of. However, they quickly discover that the dog is missing a crucial component – a behavior program to make it act like a real dog. In the meantime, Anne's neighbor, Mr. Ptolemy, is having trouble with his real dog, Rufus, who keeps barking and disrupting the peace in the neighborhood.

Anne decides to help Mr. Ptolemy by offering to fix Rufus' behavior. She uses her robotic dog, who she has named Robomutt, to study Rufus' behavior and determine what is causing him to bark so much. As Anne and her friends work on fixing Rufus' behavior, they also continue to develop Robomutt's behavior program, trying to make him as realistic and lifelike as possible.

As they work on the program, they face several challenges, including the fact that dogs are unpredictable and have different personalities. They try to incorporate all these factors into Robomutt's program, but it proves to be a difficult task. During their testing, they discover that Robomutt has a few unexpected behaviors, some of which are not very welcome, such as taking people's shoes or playing too hard.

Meanwhile, they also try different methods to help Rufus, such as giving him toys to chew on, playing with him, and even using a special dog whistle. After many attempts, they finally manage to make Rufus stop barking and behave well, to the delight of Mr. Ptolemy and the other neighbors.

Back in the lab, Anne and her friends continue working on Robomutt's program, but they still can't get it right. They decide to take a break and go outside to play with their robotic dog. Suddenly, Robomutt runs off and disappears, leaving Anne and her friends worried and upset. They search for him everywhere and ask the other residents if they have seen him, but no one has.

Just as they are about to give up hope, they hear a barking sound coming from Mr. Ptolemy's house. They go inside and discover that Robomutt has made his way to Rufus' kennel, and the two dogs are playing together joyfully. Anne and her friends are thrilled to see that Robomutt has learned how to behave like a real dog by observing Rufus, and that he can now be considered a success. They decide to celebrate by throwing a dog party, where all the residents bring their dogs and have fun playing with Robomutt.
