When the teacher displays the portraits in the hallway, Angela's friends are impressed with her artwork, but Nanette is unimpressed, dismissing Angela's portrait as a "caricature." Feeling embarrassed, Angela decides to confront Nanette, and the two end up having a heart-to-heart talk about their insecurities. By the end of the episode, Angela realizes that winning isn't everything and that true self-confidence comes from acceptance of oneself.
