In Angel season 2 episode 21, titled "Through The Looking Glass," Angel and the gang are faced with a new challenge - dealing with a world where they don't exist. This alternate reality, which appears to be a mirror image of their own world, is a dangerous place where nothing is as it seems.
It all starts when Wesley and Cordelia stumble upon an ancient spell book that allows them to open a portal to another dimension. They are curious, and so they decide to take a peek inside. As soon as they enter the portal, the two find themselves in a world that is eerily familiar but also completely unknown.
In this world, we see that Wesley and Cordelia are in a much better place than they are in the real world. They are both rich, successful, and leading a comfortable life. This version of the world is significantly different from the one we are used to seeing, and it seems like all of our favorite characters are living different lives.
As the episode progresses, we see Angel and Gunn trying to find a way to enter the other world through the portal. Along the way, they run into a number of obstacles and dangerous situations that test their ability to stay focused and survive.
The alternate world they find themselves in is a perfect mirror image of their world, but there are slight differences which gradually become more and more apparent. In this world, the peaceful and supportive Doyle lives on and is married to Cordelia. Meanwhile, Wesley has never joined the team and he is a rogue demon hunter.
As Angel, Gunn, and their counterparts from the other world do their best to find their way back to their own world, they begin to get a glimpse of how different their lives might have been if they'd made different choices. In this new reality, they get to see how the choices they made have affected them in ways they never could have imagined.
It's a fascinating episode that touches on the concept of different realities and the effects of different life choices. The story is full of suspense, action and surprises that will make viewers wonder what could have happened if the characters had made different choices. It's a well-written, well-directed and well-acted episode that will keep viewers guessing until the very end.
