Ep 5. Wrath of the Empire

In the fifth episode of Angel Cop season 1, titled "Wrath of the Empire," tensions between the Japanese government and the United States begin to escalate as a new group of terrorists, the Red May, emerges. This group is seeking revenge for the death of their former leader, a man whose demise was linked to the actions of the bioterrorist group known as Genom. The Red May is unleashing attacks on various targets throughout Tokyo, including the American embassy, in an effort to bring the two nations to the brink of war.

The Tokyo Special Police are tasked with tracking down the members of the Red May, but it quickly becomes apparent that their tactics are more extreme than anything the police have seen before. The group is using a new type of explosive that can only be detected using a specialized scanner, making it nearly impossible to anticipate their attacks. The situation becomes even more dire when it is discovered that the Red May has stolen a shipment of highly advanced military technology from the United States, including cutting-edge weaponry and surveillance equipment.

Meanwhile, the Angel division has its hands full dealing with a rogue Angel who has gone on a rampage in Tokyo. This Angel, named Lucifer, was created by the government as a weapon and has since developed a will of its own. It is causing widespread destruction and chaos throughout the city, and the other Angels are sent to stop it before it can cause any more harm.

As the Red May's attacks become more brazen and the threat of war looms ever closer, the Tokyo Special Police must uncover the organization's true motives and stop them before it's too late. With tensions running high and the clock ticking down, the fate of two nations rests on the shoulders of a small group of dedicated law enforcement officials.
