Andi's grandmother Celia becomes increasingly controlling, making Andi feel suffocated and frustrated. Andi rebels against her grandmother's strict rules, causing a rift between them. She then attempts to find a solution by looking for a new career path, but is met with difficulty as all her ideas are shot down by her grandmother.
Meanwhile, Cyrus tries to join the Ultimate Frisbee team, but is rejected due to his lack of athleticism. Buffy tries to navigate the territorial waters of high school friendships and is forced to confront her past when her frenemy, Iris, returns to school.
Andi eventually decides to take matters into her own hands and create her own business, but she learns quickly that starting a business is not easy. She enlists the help of Cyrus and Buffy, but they all quickly realize that they need the support of their friends to make it successful.
As their friendship is tested, Andi, Cyrus, and Buffy are forced to confront the fact that life is not always about what they want. They each learn valuable lessons about the importance of compromise, sacrifice, and humility.
The episode ends with Andi finding the courage to confront her grandmother and express how she feels about her controlling ways. Although it's not a perfect resolution, Andi feels empowered to make her own choices and take control of her life.
