Ep 17. Hopping Mall

Anne and her friends Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop are back for a new adventure in the latest season of Amphibia. In season 2 episode 17, titled "Hopping Mall," the group finds themselves exploring a new location in Amphibia – a giant shopping mall.
Despite the excitement of exploring a new place, their trip to the mall starts off on the wrong foot. Anne is feeling down about her inability to find a special gift for her friend Marcy's birthday, and Sprig and Hop Pop are getting into arguments over their shopping preferences. But things take a turn for the worse when the group discovers that they are not alone in the mall.
They soon encounter a group of toads who are also shopping in the mall. As we know from previous episodes, toads are not always friendly towards the frog family, and tension starts to rise between the two groups. Anne does her best to keep the peace, but the toads are not interested in making friends. Instead, they begin to plot something sinister.
Determined to make Marcy's birthday special, Anne continues her search for the perfect gift. Along the way, she discovers that the mall is not just a shopping center – it's also home to some strange and mystical creatures. She also starts to suspect that something is amiss with the toads who are following them.
As the group splits up to continue their shopping, Anne and Sprig stumble upon a hidden area of the mall. There, they discover something that could change everything they know about Amphibia.
In "Hopping Mall," the stakes are higher than ever before for our beloved characters. With danger lurking around every corner and the fate of Amphibia in the balance, Anne and her friends will need to use all of their wit and courage to make it out alive.
As always, the animation and storytelling in Amphibia season 2 episode 17 are top-notch. The attention to detail in the mall and the various creatures that inhabit it is impressive, and the characters continue to grow and develop as the season progresses.
Overall, "Hopping Mall" is an excellent addition to the Amphibia series and will leave viewers on the edge of their seats. Fans of the show will not be disappointed with this latest episode, and newcomers will be just as enthralled by the creative world and endearing characters.
