Ep 18. Paradise Picking

In season 21 episode 18 of American Pickers, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are back on the road with their trusty van in search of valuable antiques and vintage items. This episode is titled "Paradise Picking" and the duo is headed to Hawaii to explore the unique picking opportunities that the island has to offer.

Mike and Frank are excited to hit the Hawaiian islands as they have never been there before. Along with their usual picking gear, the two also pack their snorkeling gear and board shorts, ready for some sun, sand, and surf. The picker is a bit hesitant to part with some items, but the two pickers are able to strike a deal, leaving the property with some valuable finds.

Next, the pair heads to the island of Oahu, where they meet up with a collector who has a unique collection of Hawaiian artifacts and memorabilia. Mike and Frank are impressed with the collector's knowledge of Hawaiian history and culture and they spend several hours going through his collection. The collector is happy to part with some items, including an antique Hawaiian outrigger canoe and a vintage Hawaiian shirt.

As they continue their picking journey on Oahu, the duo takes a detour to visit a local surf shop. The owner of the shop has a passion for collecting vintage Hawaiiana and has amassed an impressive collection of surfboards and memorabilia over the years. Mike and Frank are excited to see the unique items on display and make a few purchases, including a rare surfboard from the 1960s.

The next stop on their Hawaiian adventure takes them to a remote part of the island of Maui. They meet up with a collector who has a massive collection of vintage cars and motorcycles, many of which have been left untouched for years. The collector takes them on a tour of his property and Mike and Frank are in awe of the sheer number of vehicles in his collection. They come across a rare Harley-Davidson and manage to strike a deal with the collector, leaving with the valuable motorcycle in tow.

Throughout the episode, Mike and Frank immerse themselves in the unique culture and history of Hawaii. They meet interesting collectors, see beautiful landscapes, and of course, score some incredible finds. The episode is a fun and exciting adventure for the American Pickers and viewers alike.
