Ep 15. Las Vegas - Season Finale

In the Season Finale of American Ninja Warrior Season 9, the top competitors from the regional rounds and city finals converge on Las Vegas for the ultimate challenge. The episode begins with the first stage of the Las Vegas finals, where the athletes must complete six challenging obstacles that test their upper body strength, balance, agility, and grip strength.

The course starts with the Snake Run, a series of curved balance obstacles that lead to the Propeller Bar, where competitors must swing across three rotating metal bars. Next up is the Double Dipper, a series of two large, slippery dipper structures that swing back and forth and must be navigated to reach the next stage. Then come the Jumping Spider, where competitors must jump and cling onto a giant spider web structure, and the Warped Wall, a 14.5-foot wall that must be scaled with a running start.

The final obstacle of Stage 1 is the new Cannonball Drop, where competitors must jump onto a pendulum and swing towards a series of suspended balls they must navigate. If they make it through the first stage, they move onto Stage 2, where eight difficult obstacles await.

Challenges include the Rumbling Dice, a series of dice that must be swung across and landed on without falling off, and the Wall Flip, where competitors must do a parkour-style flip over a vertical wall. Other obstacles include the Salmon Ladder, which requires competitors to use their upper body strength to climb a series of rungs, and the brand-new Wingnuts, which involve gripping onto spinning metal wings and navigating them to reach the other side.

The final stage of the Las Vegas finals is Stage 3, which features four intense obstacles that must be completed in under two minutes. Challenges include the new Nail Clipper, where athletes must grip onto small, rotating clips and swing across them, and the Ultimate Cliffhanger, which involves hanging from small ledges on a large, sloping wall.

If competitors make it to the end of Stage 3, they will face the ultimate challenge - the daunting 75-foot rope climb of the Mount Midoriyama. This final climb represents the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and determination, and only those athletes who have proven themselves through all the previous stages have a chance of completing it.
