American Ninja Warrior Season 5 Episode 15

Ep 15. Denver Finals (1)

  • August 18, 2013

The fifth season of the popular television show American Ninja Warrior reaches its culmination with the much-awaited Denver Finals (1) episode. The season had witnessed numerous participants from across the country competing in grueling obstacle courses, displaying their agility, strength, and determination. Only the top competitors have managed to make it through the Regional qualifiers and are now gearing up to tackle new and challenging obstacles in the Denver Finals.

The Denver Finals episode showcases a lineup of 30 participants who have qualified for the event from their performances in the Regionals. These athletes have pushed themselves to the limit in the hopes of advancing to the next round of the competition, the National Finals. The Denver Finals course is designed to test the athlete's strength, speed, skills, and endurance, featuring several brand-new obstacles that they have never faced before.

In the first part of the Denver Finals episode, we get to see several top athletes take on the challenging Qualifying course. The course comprises six obstacles, including the Tilting Slider, Slack Ladder, and Spinball Wizard. Each of these obstacles requires a unique set of skills and techniques for the athlete to overcome. Competitors such as the veteran Brian Arnold, Olympic gymnast Jonathan Horton, and female contestant Meagan Martin, demonstrate exceptional skills and determination in tackling the obstacles.

However, the Qualifying course pales in comparison to the daunting six-obstacle course that awaits the top 15 competitors in the Denver Finals. Known as the City Finals course, it features the notorious Salmon Ladder, the Elevator Climb, and the Spider Jump, all of which have been specifically designed to be more challenging than their Regional counterparts. The City Finals course culminates in a brutal Rope Ladder, which requires the athletes to climb to the top while barely touching the ladder's sides.

As the athletes line up to take on the course, the pressure is palpable. The crowd is on their feet, cheering them on as they watch with bated breath. The course proves too challenging for some, and one by one, contestants are eliminated from the competition. However, a few athletes, such as Isaac Caldiero, who had performed well in the Qualifiers, stand out with their exceptional skills.

The final obstacle, dubbed the Elevator Climb, is the most challenging of them all. It features a series of inclined platforms that the athlete must climb to reach the finishing platform. The platforms move up and down at varying speeds, making it extremely difficult for the athletes to maintain their balance and climb to the top. It's a nail-biting finish as the athletes struggle to make it to the top, with only a few succeeding in their attempts.

The Denver Finals (1) episode of American Ninja Warrior season 5 is a thrilling and captivating watch for anyone who loves watching athletes push themselves to their limits. The episode showcases some of the best athletes in the country and their exceptional skills, grit, and determination. You'll find yourself cheering them on and holding your breath as they take on the challenging obstacles, wondering who will make it to the National Finals.
