In American Ninja Warrior season 5 episode 12, titled “Baltimore Finals Part 2,” the competition continues as the top contestants from the previous episode return to tackle more challenging obstacles. The Baltimore Finals course is the last step before the National Finals in Las Vegas, and the competitors are giving it their all to make it through.

The episode begins with a two-part obstacle called the Spider Climb, which challenges the ninjas to use their upper-body strength and grip to climb up and across a spider-shaped set of bars. Many of the contestants struggle with this obstacle, with some even falling on the first bar. But a few manage to make it through, including fan-favorite Kacy Catanzaro, who becomes the first woman ever to finish the Spider Climb.

Next up is the Jumping Bars, which test the ninjas’ agility and balance as they navigate a series of trampoline-like bars suspended in mid-air. Some of the contestants make it through this obstacle easily, while others struggle to maintain their balance on the narrow bars. But eventually, most of them make it through, including veteran competitor Drew Drechsel, who makes quick work of the Jumping Bars and moves on to the next obstacle.

The third obstacle is the Pole Grasper, a new challenge introduced this season that requires the contestants to use their upper body strength to swing from pole to pole, gradually making their way to the other side of the course. This obstacle proves to be especially challenging, with several of the competitors falling into the water below. But a few manage to make it through, including rookie competitor Joe Moravsky, who impresses the crowd with his flawless technique.

The fourth obstacle is the Cliffhanger, a classic American Ninja Warrior challenge that has been a part of the course since the beginning. This obstacle requires the ninjas to hang from a series of narrow ledges and make their way across a wall using only their fingertips and toes. It’s a grueling test of endurance and strength, and many of the contestants struggle to make it through. But a few manage to complete the Cliffhanger, including fan-favorite Brian Arnold, who looks stronger than ever this season.

The final obstacle of the Baltimore Finals course is the Warped Wall, a towering structure that requires the ninjas to run up a steep incline and grab onto the top edge with their hands. This obstacle is all about speed and power, and the contestants have to give it their all to make it to the top before time runs out. Many of the competitors manage to make it up the Warped Wall, but a few fall short, including rookie competitor Travis Rosen.

Throughout the episode, we get to see the competitors’ personalities and stories, as they share their struggles and triumphs with the audience. We learn about Kacy Catanzaro’s journey from gymnastics to American Ninja Warrior, and we see how she is inspiring a new generation of young girls to believe in themselves and follow their dreams. We also see how Drew Drechsel’s years of training and dedication have paid off, as he dominates the course and looks poised to make it to the National Finals once again.

Overall, American Ninja Warrior season 5 episode 12 is a thrilling and inspiring installment in the series, showcasing the incredible athletic feats and personal stories of some of the top competitors in the world. With the Baltimore Finals behind us, the stage is set for the National Finals in Las Vegas, where the best of the best will battle for the title of American Ninja Warrior champion.
