In the 13th episode of American Idol's 10th season, the top 12 boys take the stage to perform for the judges and America's votes.

The episode opens up with Ryan Seacrest greeting the crowd and introducing the judges: Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson, and Steven Tyler. He explains that the boys will be performing tonight and the girls will perform tomorrow.

The first contestant up is Scotty McCreery, who sings "Can I Trust You With My Heart" by Travis Tritt. Jennifer compliments Scotty's stage presence and Randy praises his pitch accuracy. Steven calls him a "natural born country singer."

Next up is Jerome Bell, who chooses to sing "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars. Randy asks Jerome to show off more of his range and Steven says he enjoyed the performance but thinks Jerome needs to work on his lower notes. Jennifer agrees with Steven.

Stefano Langone is the third performer of the night, singing "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel. All of the judges praise his vocal control and emotional delivery. Randy says Stefano is one of the Season 10 frontrunners.

Jacob Lusk takes the stage next, singing "A House Is Not a Home" by Luther Vandross. The judges give Jacob a standing ovation and praise his powerful vocals and ability to connect with the song's lyrics emotionally. Randy tells Jacob he's one of the best singers they've ever had on American Idol.

Jordan Dorsey is up next, singing "OMG" by Usher. The judges seem unimpressed with his performance and criticize his song choice. Jennifer tells him it felt like "karaoke" and Randy calls it a "mess." Steven tells Jordan to focus more on his vocals.

Casey Abrams takes the stage next, performing "I Put a Spell on You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. The judges are wowed by Casey's unique voice and stage presence. Jennifer says he's "fearless" and Steven says he's "one of a kind." Randy says Casey is reminding him of Adam Lambert.

Up next is Tim Halperin, who chooses to sing "Streetcorner Symphony" by Rob Thomas. All of the judges agree that Tim has a great voice but his performance lacked the conviction and energy needed to connect with the audience. Randy advises Tim to take more risks in his performances.

Brett Loewenstern takes the stage next, performing "Light My Fire" by The Doors. The judges praise Brett's distinct voice and stage presence. Steven tells him he has a unique style and Jennifer says he has a "clear singing voice." Randy advises Brett to work on his swagger and confidence on stage.

Jacob Lusk returns to the stage, this time performing "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals. Once again, the judges are blown away by Jacob's vocals and emotional connection to the song. Jennifer tells him he's "raising the bar" for all the other contestants.

James Durbin is up next, singing "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney. The judges praise James for his rockstar energy and vocal talent. Steven tells him he's a "true rock vocalist" and Jennifer says he has a "natural grit" to his voice.

Robbie Rosen takes the stage next, singing "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan. The judges commend Robbie for his beautiful voice and emotional delivery. Randy tells him he's one of the best "singers" in the competition but needs to work on his "performing" skills.

Finally, Paul McDonald closes out the night with a performance of "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart. The judges appreciate Paul's unique style and ability to connect with the audience. Steven tells him he's a "true original" and Jennifer calls him a "charismatic" performer.

Overall, the top 12 boys brought their A-game to the stage, impressing the judges and viewers with their vocal talents and stage presence. America now has the opportunity vote for their favorite performers in hopes of keeping them in the competition.
