Ep 1. The Minivan

Katie and Greg Otto are excited to finally purchase a new minivan after their old car breaks down. However, their excitement is short-lived when the salesman at the dealership tells them that they can only afford the bare bones minivan and none of the fancy features they had hoped for. Disappointed but determined, Katie and Greg embark on a mission to find ways to turn their plain minivan into a luxurious ride.

Meanwhile, Taylor, their oldest daughter, is starting her freshman year at college and is struggling to fit in with her new roommate who comes from a wealthy background. Taylor feels insecure about her own financial situation and tries to save face by pretending that her family is also wealthy.

At the same time, Oliver, their middle child, is determined to make a name for himself at his new school. He joins the Debate Club in the hopes of impressing his crush, but quickly learns that the club is not exactly what he had imagined.

As the family navigates these different challenges, they learn important lessons about appreciating what they have and staying true to themselves. By the end of the episode, they have all come out stronger and more confident in their own skin.
