Ep 17. Liar Liar, Room On Fire

Katie is on a mission to prove to her skeptical friends that her mother Donna is actually a talented singer, after Donna's attempts to sneakily record a demo CD in Katie's house are met with derision. Meanwhile, Greg tries to persuade Oliver to put some effort into his school work when his grades start slipping, leading to a series of elaborate and unlikely lies that threaten to escalate out of control. At the same time, Taylor is frustrated by the lack of privacy in the family home and sets out to claim her own space, only to discover that her ideal room has already been claimed by Anna-Kat, leading to a fiery confrontation. As tensions mount and secrets are exposed, the Otto family must navigate their way through a series of conflicts and misunderstandings to find a way forward.
