Ep 11. Oedipal Panties

Roger, an alien who is a member of the Smith family, decides to take a trip back home to his home planet in order to attend his twentieth high school reunion. However, he is not looking forward to it since he was a complete outcast in high school and was constantly bullied. Upon returning to his home planet, Roger is disappointed to find out that no one remembers him and that he was completely forgotten by his classmates. In an attempt to regain some of his lost glory, Roger puts on a pair of women's underwear in the hopes of impressing his old high school crush. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Stan and Francine receive a letter from Roger's hometown that encourages them to come to a party since Roger is being honoured for his contributions to their community. The Smiths decide to attend the party in order to support their friend but are shocked to find that Roger has made a complete fool of himself by wearing women's underwear in front of everyone. They all take pity on him and decide to help him get over his insecurities and regain his confidence in himself. Through a series of heartfelt conversations and practical jokes, the Smiths help Roger remember that he is loved and accepted for who he is, regardless of his past or the opinions of others. In the end, Roger learns that he is truly a special and unique individual who should be proud of who he is, even if the rest of the world doesn't quite understand him.
