Ep 54. Youth Ministry Vs. The Divas

In season 3 episode 54 of America Says, titled "Youth Ministry Vs. The Divas," two teams face off against each other in a battle of wits and knowledge. The first team, Youth Ministry, is made up of members of a local church youth group. The second team, The Divas, consists of four friends who love everything glamorous and fabulous.
Host John Michael Higgins introduces the teams and explains the rules of the game. In each round, a category is given and teams take turns guessing the top answers based on surveys of 100 Americans. The team with the most points after three rounds moves on to the bonus round, where they have the chance to win $15,000.

The Youth Ministry team answers with "temptation," "chocolate," and "shopping," while The Divas team guesses "chocolate," "shoes," and "online shopping." As the game progresses, the categories become more challenging, ranging from "Terms in a Baseball Game" to "Things that Need Assembly."
Both teams manage to rack up points throughout the game, with Youth Ministry relying on their knowledge of Bible stories and The Divas using their fashion and beauty expertise. There are a few close calls where one team is able to steal points from the other, but the game remains neck-and-neck until the very end.
In the final round, the category is "Rapid Fire Food." Both teams struggle to come up with answers quickly, but ultimately The Divas are able to guess more top answers and win the game with a final score of 330 to 260.
Although Youth Ministry is disappointed in their loss, they are still excited to have had the opportunity to participate on America Says and put their teamwork and knowledge to the test. The Divas are ecstatic about their win and can't wait to use their prize money to fund future shopping sprees and beauty treatments.
