The Anands brainstorm answers like "Pepper," "Curry," and "Sriracha," while the Halloween team counters with "Cayenne," "Hot sauce," and "Wasabi." With only seconds left on the clock, both teams are tied with six correct answers each.

Host John Michael Higgins delivers the results with a dramatic flair, announcing that the winner of the round with a score of 18 to 15 is... the Halloween team! They jump and cheer in excitement as the Anands graciously congratulate them on their victory. The Halloween team moves on to the bonus round, where they have a chance to win up to $15,000 by correctly guessing ten fill-in-the-blank phrases in 60 seconds.
