In America's Next Top Model season 7 episode 4, titled "The Girl Who Goes to Texas," the remaining models get a taste of Texas culture when they fly to the Lone Star State to participate in a fashion show and photo shoot.
Upon arriving in Texas, the models are greeted by a group of cowboys who take them to a ranch for a fitting. The challenge for this episode involves the models walking in a fashion show for designer Pamella Roland, who has created a collection inspired by Western wear. The models must not only strut their stuff on the runway, but also embody the spirit of Texas through their movements and attitude. The winner of the challenge receives a diamond necklace from sponsor Van Cleef & Arpels.
After the fashion show, the models head to a ranch for a photo shoot with photographer Joey Lawrence. The theme for the shoot is "Wild West," and each model is assigned a different role to play, such as a cowgirl, saloon dancer, or gunslinger. To make things even more challenging, the models must pose with real horses and other animals.
Back at the house, tensions start to rise as the competition heats up. Some of the models struggle with the challenges, leading to frustration and tears. Meanwhile, others excel and gain more confidence in themselves and their modeling abilities.
At panel, the judges review the girls' photos and performances from the week. They critique each model's look, posing, and ability to convey the theme of the shoot. One model impresses the judges with a stunning photo, while another disappoints with a lackluster performance. In the end, one model is sent home, while the others move on to the next challenge, one step closer to becoming America's Next Top Model.
