Ep 3. New York's Finest

In this episode of America's Next Top Model, the remaining contestants are tasked with the challenge of embodying the essence of New York City, home to some of the world's most iconic fashion designers and models. The episode begins with a lesson on runway walking from Jay Manuel, the show's creative director, who teaches the models how to perfect their walks to impress the judges. The models then attend a casting call for the iconic department store Bloomingdale's, where they must impress the buyers and bookers to secure a spot in their upcoming fashion show.

Next, the models head to a photoshoot with the legendary Nigel Barker, who directs them to pose in classic New York City locales such as a taxi cab and a hot dog stand. Barker brings a new level of energy and excitement to the shoot as the contestants are challenged to bring their A-game while shooting in slightly awkward but iconic locations.

Back in the Top Model house, tensions are running high as the girls engage in a heated discussion about the previous photo shoot, with some of the contestants expressing frustration and anxiety as they struggle to please the show's judges. But the episode quickly moves back to the competition itself, as judges Tyra Banks, Nigel Barker, J. Alexander, and fashion designer Marc Bouwer gather to evaluate the girls' performances in both the runway walk and the photoshoot.

Throughout the episode, the models face a number of twists and turns that challenge them to step outside of their comfort zones and demonstrate their versatility, with one contestant emerging as the clear frontrunner thanks to her ability to deliver on both the runway and in front of the camera. But as always, America's Next Top Model keeps everyone guessing until the very end, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as the models face yet another elimination challenge.
