Always a Witch (Siempre Bruja in Spanish) is a Colombian supernatural series that premiered on Netflix in 2019. The show is set in the late 17th century, and it's about a young Afro-Colombian woman named Carmen Eguiluz, who is accused of witchcraft and sentenced to death. However, with the help of a mysterious wizard, Carmen manages to travel to the present day, where she can hide from her persecutors and try to break the curse that was put on her by her captors.

The show is based on the novel "Yo, Bruja" by Isidora Chac
