Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks is a popular animated show about three chipmunk brothers named Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, and their adventures as they navigate through life with their dad, Dave Seville, and the other characters in their neighborhood. In season 1 episode 2, entitled "A is for Alien / Jeanette Enchanted," the Chipmunks and their girlfriends, the Chipettes, find themselves in two different predicaments.
In "A is for Alien," the Chipmunks wake up one morning to find strange crop circles in their backyard. Alvin immediately becomes convinced that aliens have landed and sets out to capture one for his show and tell presentation at school. Meanwhile, Simon and Theodore try to prove to their skeptical brother that the crop circles were most likely created by a lawnmower. As the boys go back and forth about the possibility of alien life, they all become convinced that they're being watched and followed by strange creatures. What's really going on in their backyard? Will Alvin get his hands on an alien for his presentation? Viewers will have to tune in to find out.
In "Jeanette Enchanted," Jeanette, the most shy and timid of the Chipettes, learns a magical secret that helps her transform into a confident and talented performer. The girls are preparing for a singing competition when Jeanette accidentally stumbles upon a box of magical bracelets. When she puts one on, she's immediately transformed into a talented singer and dancer with a newfound confidence that amazes her sisters. But as the competition approaches, Jeanette becomes overly reliant on the bracelet and starts neglecting her own natural abilities. Will she learn to believe in herself and her own talents before it's too late?
