The first half of the episode, Super Heros, begins with the Chipmunks playing make-believe superheroes while Dave is out running errands. Alvin is Captain Chipmunk, Simon is Electro-Squirrel, and Theodore is Super Cookie. They are having a great time fighting off imaginary villains until they accidentally break Dave's favorite lamp. In a panic, they try to make it look like the lamp was broken by an actual villain but get caught in their lies by Dave. Feeling guilty, the Chipmunks decide to use their superhero powers to complete Dave's errands and fix the lamp as a way to make it up to him.
The second half of the episode, She's Got Style, focuses on the Chipettes - Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor. Brittany wants to impress her new fashion idol, Jennifer O'Toole, so she asks her sisters to help her come up with a stylish outfit for a party Jennifer will be attending. Jeanette comes up with a unique and avant-garde dress made entirely out of recycled materials, but Brittany is hesitant to wear it because it's not what she was expecting. With some encouragement from Eleanor, Brittany wears the dress to the party and catches Jennifer's eye. However, Jennifer claims that the dress is not fashionable enough and makes fun of Brittany's style. Feeling embarrassed and defeated, Brittany confides in her sisters, but they remind her that true fashion is about expressing yourself and being confident in your own style.
