In the tenth episode of Alphas season 1, titled "The Unusual Suspects", the team is tasked with investigating a string of seemingly unrelated criminal activities that all lead back to one mysterious figure known only as "The Ghost."
As the investigation unfolds, the team begins to suspect that The Ghost may actually be an Alpha with the ability to make people forget that they ever saw him. This theory is further supported by the fact that all of the crimes committed by The Ghost have been executed with extreme precision and planning, indicating a heightened level of intelligence.
Meanwhile, Hicks is struggling to come to terms with the fact that his son may also be an Alpha, and is torn between wanting to protect him and wanting to help him control his powers. This inner turmoil is exacerbated by the fact that Hicks' son is beginning to display signs of aggression and instability, leading Hicks to fear for his safety and that of those around him.
As the investigation heats up, the team is forced to look within their own ranks to uncover the truth about The Ghost and his motives. This leads to some unexpected twists and turns as they find themselves drawn into a complex web of lies and deception.
Ultimately, the team is able to unravel the mystery of The Ghost and bring him to justice, but not before facing some hard truths about themselves and their own abilities. In the end, they must come to terms with the fact that being an Alpha does not make them invincible, and that they must use their powers wisely and responsibly if they want to make a positive impact on the world.
