Watch Along the Mississippi

From Memphis - home of rock and roll, BBQ, and, in a more serious vein, the site of Dr. Martin Luther King's assassination - to Hannibal, the birthplace of Mark Twain.

A canoe maker, a cotton grower and a blues singer populate the middle episode of our Mississippi journey.

The journey begins with the Atchafalayas, the mystical swamps that adorn the mouth of the Mississippi, inhabited by rare birds, alligators and pelicans. A bit upstream we come to the "Big Easy" - New Orleans.
