Ep 2. Open Season

As the two remaining groups continue to acclimate to their new surroundings, their focus shifts towards finding and securing food sources. For some, this means braving the treacherous waters in search of fish, while others opt to explore the dense forested landscape in hopes of discovering berries, nuts, or game. The importance of a reliable food source cannot be understated - without it, their chances of survival are greatly diminished.

However, obtaining food is no easy task. The wilderness is unpredictable and unforgiving, and any mistake could prove fatal. In this episode, we witness the challenges faced by each group as they grapple with the realities of living off the land. For Team One, the decision to set up camp near the river pays off when they manage to haul in several sizable fish. But their good fortune is tempered by nagging hunger pangs that only a consistent food source can alleviate.

Meanwhile, Team Two is struggling to find their footing. After days of exploring the forest, they have yet to come across any significant sources of food. Their rations are dwindling, and they are forced to consider the possibility of hunting for game. But this poses its own set of challenges - without the proper tools and knowledge, hunting can be an exercise in futility. As tensions rise and frustrations mount, the group must find a way to persevere if they hope to survive.

Beyond the challenge of procuring food, both teams must contend with the harsh realities of living in the wilderness. The nights are frigid, and any misstep could lead to injury or worse. As each day passes, the contestants are reminded of just how vulnerable they are.
