Cool Paw Howie / SS Banana Cabana is the twelfth episode of the first season of Almost Naked Animals. The episode begins with Howie deciding to change his style to look more cool. However, the other animals at the Banana Cabana resort find Howie's outfit to be uncool and make fun of him. In an attempt to become more fashionable, Howie goes to a cool store on the island. There, he meets Cool Paw, a dog who is the coolest animal on the island. Cool Paw gives Howie a new outfit and teaches him how to be cool.
Meanwhile, the other animals are struggling to deal with a mysterious creature who has been stealing all of their bananas. They set up a surveillance camera to catch the thief, but the tape is eaten by a monkey before they can watch it. However, after seeing how cool Howie looks in his new outfit, the animals come up with a plan to catch the banana thief. They dress up as bananas and trick the thief into revealing itself.
As the animals celebrate their victory, they realize that they have overlooked the fact that the Banana Cabana is stranded on a sandbar. They need to figure out a way to move the resort or they will be stuck there forever. Howie, now fully embraced his new cool persona, comes up with a brilliant plan to use the Banana Cabana as a boat. He has everyone help him build a makeshift sail and rudder out of the resort's supplies. After a few close calls, they successfully sail the Banana Cabana to safety.
Overall, Cool Paw Howie / SS Banana Cabana is a fun and inventive episode of Almost Naked Animals. The storyline of Howie trying to become cool adds a new dimension to his character, and the mystery of the banana thief keeps the plot moving forward. The episode also features some impressive animation, particularly during the scenes where the animals are sailing the Banana Cabana. With its combination of humor and adventure, Cool Paw Howie / SS Banana Cabana is a standout episode from the first season of Almost Naked Animals.
