In the show All Hail King Julien, season 2 episode 4, titled Pineapple of my Eye, King Julien is feeling jealous of his best friend and advisor, Maurice. Meanwhile, Clover, the head of security, is investigating a case of stolen pineapples. The pineapples, which are considered a delicacy in the kingdom, are disappearing without a trace. Clover suspects that a group of mischievous lemurs is behind the thefts and sets out to catch them.
As King Julien tries to win back the attention of his people, he discovers that being the Pineapple of the Year is not all it's cracked up to be. Maurice is constantly being hounded by fans, can't go anywhere without being recognized, and is even being stalked by a group of overly enthusiastic lemurs.
King Julien decides to help his friend by taking on some of his duties, but things quickly spiral out of control when Julien becomes overwhelmed with the responsibilities. In the end, King Julien realizes that he doesn't need an award to be happy, as long as he has his friends by his side.
Meanwhile, Clover tracks down the pineapple thieves and discovers that they are a group of baby lemurs who just wanted to play a game. Clover decides to teach them a lesson by making them clean up all of the mess they made and return the stolen pineapples to their rightful owners.
Overall, Pineapple of my Eye is a fun and lighthearted episode of All Hail King Julien that focuses on the importance of friendship, responsibility, and finding happiness within oneself.
