Ep 12. Season I - Episode 12 - Pig and Pepper

Alice in Wonderland is a classic tale that follows young Alice as she falls down a rabbit hole and enters a strange, fantastical world filled with odd creatures and nonsensical events. Season 1 – Episode 12, titled "Pig and Pepper," continues Alice's adventure as she encounters a new set of characters.

As the episode opens, Alice stumbles upon a house and peeks inside, curious about the inhabitants. She sees a Duchess, who is nursing a baby while a cook is preparing food. However, the cook's pepper-sneeze causes chaos in the kitchen, and Alice is forced to intervene when the baby is thrown into her arms. She quickly hands the baby back to the Duchess, who is no longer holding an infant but a pig.

Confused and bewildered, Alice watches as the Duchess and the Cook argue and fight, all while the pig runs amok. The Cheshire Cat appears, much to Alice's relief, and offers her some cryptic advice before disappearing. Alice realizes that the only way to escape this madness is to leave, but the pig is now blocking the door.

Alice's antics continue as she tries to figure out how to get rid of the pig. She even considers shrinking down to a small enough size to get past it, but decides not to risk it. Instead, she tries to talk to the pig, hoping that it will listen and move aside. However, the pig is stubborn and refuses to budge.

Meanwhile, the Duchess and the Cook's argument continues, and they eventually bring Alice into it. The Duchess accuses Alice of being responsible for the chaos, and Alice is forced to defend herself. She argues that she was only trying to help and asks them to stop fighting. However, her words fall on deaf ears, and the situation only worsens.

Just when it seems that Alice is trapped in this bizarre world forever, she finds a way out. She discovers a secret passage behind a curtain and makes her escape. However, as she leaves, she hears the pig crying and can't help but feel sorry for it. She resolves to help it in any way she can and promises to come back and check on it later.

Overall, Season I – Episode 12 – Pig and Pepper, is a surreal and wacky episode that further cements Alice's status as a resilient and resourceful protagonist. Through her trials and tribulations, Alice never loses her sense of wonder or her curiosity. She may not always understand what's happening around her, but she never gives up. And most importantly, she always remains true to herself.
