Ali G Rezurection is a satirical comedy show that follows the antics of Sacha Baron Cohen's infamous character Ali G. The show is a compilation of previously unreleased footage from his original show "Da Ali G Show," as well as new materials and interviews.

Season 1 episode 1, titled "Cannes," begins with Ali G and his film crew attending the Cannes Film Festival in France. Ali G, who is posing as a serious journalist, is on a mission to interview some of the biggest names in the film industry.

As expected, Ali G's interviews are anything but conventional. In one scene, he interviews actress Cate Blanchett and asks her if she has ever auditioned for a role by having sex with the director. Blanchett, who is visibly uncomfortable, tries to handle the inappropriate question with grace and professionalism.

Ali G also interviews film producer Carole Littleton, who becomes increasingly frustrated with his ridiculous questions. However, as the interview progresses, Carole seems to warm up to Ali G and his unique interviewing style.

The episode then cuts to a scene where Ali G interviews Christina Aguilera, who is promoting her new album. Ali G pranks Christina by pretending to get her name wrong and referring to her as "Christine Applegate" throughout the interview.

The episode also features a hilarious segment where Ali G tries to convince his crew to participate in an experiment where they smoke weed and try to drive through a slalom course. While his crew is initially hesitant, they eventually give in to Ali G's persistence and hilariously fail to complete the course.

Ali G Rezurection season 1 episode 1 is a hilarious and irreverent look at the Cannes Film Festival from the perspective of one of the most outrageous characters in comedy history. Sacha Baron Cohen once again proves why he is one of the most talented and fearless comedians of his generation.
