Ep 8. Midnight Poachers

In this episode of Alaska State Troopers, entitled "Midnight Poachers", the troopers are on high alert for those breaking the law in the middle of the night.

Trooper Johnson is on patrol when he receives a call about a potential poacher in the area. He quickly responds to the scene and discovers two individuals attempting to illegally hunt moose. Johnson takes control of the situation and arrests the two poachers, while also confiscating their weapons and vehicles.

Meanwhile, Troopers Blanton and Hess respond to a call about a domestic disturbance in progress. When they arrive at the scene, they find a man and woman in a heated argument. After separating the couple and diffusing the situation, the troopers discover illegal drugs in the home and arrest the individuals for possession. In a later incident, Troopers Blanton and Hess are also involved in a high-speed chase with a suspect who is driving under the influence.

Trooper Anderson receives a report of a missing person and launches an investigation. During the search, Anderson discovers a stranded hiker who had been lost in the wilderness for days. Anderson provides the hiker with food and water before escorting him to safety.

Later in the episode, Trooper Cronin investigates a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road. Upon inspection, Cronin discovers that the driver is wanted for outstanding warrants and has several illegal weapons in his possession. Cronin promptly arrests the driver and ensures that the weapons are confiscated.

Throughout the episode, the Alaska State Troopers demonstrate their commitment to protecting both wildlife and the citizens of Alaska. They use their training and expertise to enforce the law and serve the community while also facing the dangers of their job head-on.
