Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor is an anime series that aired in 2017. The show follows the story of a young girl named Sistine Fibel, who enrolls in a magic academy in order to pursue her dream of becoming a powerful mage. However, she quickly discovers that the academy is not what she expected it to be.

The academy is run by a lazy and incompetent mage named Glenn Radars, who is nicknamed "Glenn the Worst" by his students. Glenn doesn't seem to care about his students or his job, and spends most of his time sleeping or slacking off. Sistine is initially frustrated by Glenn's lack of commitment, but eventually realizes that he might be the only one who can help her unlock her true potential.
