Ep 12. Yuzu's Errand

Yuzu's Errand is the twelfth episode of Aishiteruze Baby's first season. The episode starts with Yuzuyu, a five-year-old girl who is the main character of the show, getting ready to go on an errand with her classmates. She is very excited about it and has been looking forward to it for weeks. Meanwhile, her stepbrother Kippei is worried about her going out with her classmates without him being there to look after her.

As Yuzu steps out of the house, Kippei tells her to be careful and to look both ways before crossing the street. He even warns her about strangers and tells her not to talk to anyone she doesn't know. Yuzu assures him that she will be careful and that she won't talk to strangers. She then proceeds to walk with her classmates, who are all excited about going on an adventure.

The group walks to a local market where they get distracted by all the things around them. Yuzu's friends run off in different directions, leaving Yuzu alone in the crowded market. She tries to keep up with her friends but eventually loses them. She starts to get worried and afraid, as she has no idea where she is or how to get back home.

As Yuzu walks around, trying to find her way out of the market, she meets a young boy who offers to help her. At first, Yuzu is hesitant to talk to him, remembering Kippei's warning about strangers. However, the boy seems friendly and genuine, and Yuzu decides to trust him.

The boy, whose name is Yuuki, leads Yuzu through the market, showing her various sights and sounds along the way. He buys her a popsicle and they sit down to enjoy it together. Yuzu tells Yuuki about her family and about her stepbrother Kippei, whom she loves very much. Yuuki listens intently, offering words of encouragement and support.

As they continue to walk, Yuzu and Yuuki come across a toy shop. Yuzu is drawn to the toys and starts to play with them. However, as she is playing, she accidentally breaks one of the toys. She starts to panic, worrying about how Kippei will react when he finds out. Yuuki tries to calm her down, reminding her that accidents happen and that it was just a toy.

Eventually, Yuzu's friends find her and they all head back home together. As they part ways, Yuuki reminds Yuzu to always be careful and to never give up, no matter how scary things might seem. Yuzu thanks Yuuki for his help and for the popsicle, promising to remember his words of encouragement.

Back at home, Kippei is relieved to see Yuzu return safely. He notices that she has a new toy and immediately asks her about it. Yuzu tells him about how she accidentally broke one of the toys while playing in the market, but how a kind boy named Yuuki helped her through it.

Kippei is grateful to Yuuki for helping Yuzu and realizes that he can't be with Yuzu all the time. He decides to be more trusting of her and to let her explore the world around her, knowing that she will always find her way back to him.

The episode ends with Yuzu going to bed, feeling happy and safe. Kippei watches over her, knowing that she is growing up and becoming more independent every day. He smiles as he remembers the words of wisdom that Yuuki shared with Yuzu, knowing that they will always stay with her, no matter where she goes.
