Sonic and Tails are in pursuit of Robotnik who has kidnapped a baby from Mobius' royal family. As they track him down, they come across a group of thieves who have also been on the hunt for the baby, hoping to collect the ransom. Sonic and Tails must team up with the thieves to rescue the baby and bring down Robotnik's plan. Along the way, Sonic teaches the group of thieves the importance of doing the right thing and helps them turn a new leaf. Will they be able to save the baby and outsmart Robotnik?
