Ep 33. Jermaine

Jermaine is the 33rd episode of the sixth season of Adventure Time, an animated television series on Cartoon Network. The episode begins with Jake the Dog receiving a French Fry-like surprise while playing video games in his treehouse. After finishing the video game, Jake asks Finn the Human about his strange dream, prompting Finn to recount his dreams to Jake. The drawing seems to have a mystical aura, and as Finn looks more closely, he realizes that the drawing was drawn by Magic Man. He then shows Jake the drawing, and the two proceed to hunt down Magic Man to help them decipher the mysterious image.

After finding Magic Man, the eccentric character directs Finn and Jake towards a strange sculpture that he had hidden away. Magic Man then offers to use his powers to help Finn and Jake gain access to the treasure they seek. However, they have to make a sacrifice, as Magic Man will absorb whatever's left in the sculpture to bring his magic powers back. The duo agrees, and Magic Man uses the sculpture to guide them to the underground cavern.

When they reach the underground cavern, they finally find the mysterious treasure-filled chamber. However, they are soon surprised to find out that Finn's alter-ego, the creature guarding the treasure, is actually his long-lost brother Jermaine. Jermaine explains that he felt guilty about hoarding and collecting all his possessions in the storage container his brother Jake found years ago. Therefore, he started living underground in the cavern, guarding the treasure and keeping it away from prying eyes.

The episode ends with Finn and Jake apologizing to their brother for invading his privacy and promising to keep the cavern's location a secret. Jermaine promises to return to his old life above ground, while Finn and Jake leave the caverns, having learned an important lesson about family, responsibility and respecting each other's personal space.
