Ep 7. Davey

Davey is the seventh episode of the fifth season of Adventure Time, an American animated television series. The episode revolves around Finn and Jake's encounter with Davey, a mysterious individual who claims to be a legendary hero from Ooo.

The episode starts with Finn and Jake taking a leisurely walk in the forest when they hear someone calling for help. They soon come across Davey, a small and meek-looking individual who claims to be a famous hero from a distant land. Davey tells Finn and Jake that he has been captured by a giant, fire-breathing Cyclops who has taken him as a prisoner.

Finn and Jake are skeptical of Davey's claims, but they decide to help him anyway. They know that Cyclopes are dangerous creatures, but they are willing to help Davey out of his predicament. They follow Davey's lead and travel through the forest until they come across the Cyclops.

Upon seeing the giant creature, Finn and Jake are filled with dread. But Davey is not afraid. He claims to be a hero and boldly steps forward to face the Cyclops. Finn and Jake watch in amazement as Davey uses his quick wit and cunning to defeat the Cyclops and rescue Finn and Jake.

But just as they are about to leave, Davey reveals his true nature. Instead of being the hero he claimed to be, Davey is actually a con artist who has been deceiving people for years. He admits that he has never been a hero and only pretended to be in order to gain fame and fortune.

Finn and Jake are furious at Davey, but they decide to teach him a lesson. They convince Davey to come with them to the Candy Kingdom, where they trick him into thinking that he is the ruler of the land. Finn and Jake set up a mock ceremony and crown Davey as the king of Candy Kingdom, complete with a royal procession and adoring crowds.

But in the end, Davey's dishonesty catches up with him. The citizens of Candy Kingdom soon realize that Davey is not a real king and stage a revolt. Davey is forced to flee the kingdom, and Finn and Jake are left to clean up the mess.

Despite the chaos that Davey has caused, Finn and Jake are not angry with him. They realize that Davey was just trying to find his place in the world, and they decide to help him in his journey of self-discovery. They offer him a job as the official liar of the Candy Kingdom, where he can use his talents for deception in a more positive way.

In the end, Davey leaves with a newfound sense of purpose. Finn and Jake watch him go, knowing that they have made a small but positive difference in his life. The episode ends with Finn and Jake walking off into the sunset, ready for their next adventure in the Land of Ooo.
