Morticia is excited to enter her sculpture into a local art contest, but her masterpiece is accidentally destroyed by Lurch while he is practicing his golf swing in the house. Devastated, Morticia tries to come up with a new idea for the contest, but struggles to find her inspiration.
Meanwhile, Gomez is trying to teach Pugsley and Wednesday the importance of manners and etiquette, but they are resistant to his efforts. Frustrated, Gomez turns to Uncle Fester for help, who suggests using a game of croquet to teach the children proper decorum.
As Morticia becomes increasingly stressed about the contest, Cousin Itt arrives to offer his support and suggests that they collaborate on a new sculpture together. Morticia is hesitant at first, but eventually agrees to work with him.
However, things take a turn when Morticia and Cousin Itt start to argue over the direction of their sculpture. Morticia wants to create something elegant and refined, while Cousin Itt wants to incorporate his trademark whimsy and humor. As their vision clashes, tensions rise and their partnership is put in jeopardy.
Meanwhile, Gomez's croquet lesson takes a turn when the children start to cheat and disrupt the game. Frustrated, Gomez turns to Thing for advice, who suggests using reverse psychology to get the children to behave properly.
As the art contest approaches, Morticia and Cousin Itt must come to a compromise and find a way to meld their styles together. With the help of Thing and Lurch, they finally create a sculpture that they are both proud of.
At the contest, Morticia and Cousin Itt's sculpture steals the show, impressing the judges with their unique vision. Meanwhile, Gomez's lesson finally pays off when Pugsley and Wednesday demonstrate their newfound manners and etiquette.
In the end, the Addams family learns the importance of compromise and working together, and Morticia's artistic talents are once again celebrated.
