In the fifth episode of the fifth season of Ace of Cakes, called "Swimming with the Sharks," viewers get an inside look at Duff Goldman and his team of bakers as they work to create a cake for the Georgia Aquarium. The theme of the cake is, not surprisingly, "underwater adventure," and the team is tasked with crafting fish, coral, and other sea creatures out of cake and fondant.
Things get off to a bit of a rocky start when the team discovers that the cake is too tall to fit in the aquarium's elevator. Undeterred, they decide to cut the cake in half and transport it to the aquarium that way. The team also faces some challenges with the design of the cake, as they try to figure out how to make all of the different elements fit together in a seamless way.
As always, the show is full of moments of levity and humor, as well as some tense moments as the team races against the clock to complete the cake on time. There are also some unexpected twists and turns, including a last-minute change to the cake's design that throws everyone for a loop.
Throughout it all, viewers get to see the skill and artistry that goes into creating a cake like this, as well as the camaraderie and teamwork that is necessary to make it all happen. The episode is a great example of what makes Ace of Cakes such an entertaining and engaging show, as it combines high-stakes drama with plenty of heart and humor. Whether you're a fan of cake decorating or just love a good reality show, you won't want to miss this episode!
