Ace of Cakes is a reality TV show that follows the extraordinary cake-making abilities of Charm City Cakes, a bakery located in Baltimore, Maryland. The show's fifth season features the team at Charm City Cakes taking on even more challenging and unique cake designs.

Mary works tirelessly carving the face of the panda out of Rice Krispies squares. The use of Rice Krispies squares helps to create a replica that can easily be sculpted into the panda's shape and details. The team uses a unique tool to mimic the panda's curved features, ensuring that every detail is perfect.

As the clock ticks down to the deadline, Mary and her team start sculpting the panda's body, paws, and legs. The team plans to keep the panda's head to apply the finishing touches after the cake is set up. By that time, the cake is loaded onto the truck and headed to the National Zoo.

Once Charm City Cakes gets to the National Zoo, they are met with an audience of hundreds of people who are all eager to take a peek at the panda cake. The team sets up a workstation in the zoo's Panda House where they continue working on the cake. They apply buttercream frosting and brown fondant to the cake and start shaping the panda's head.

As the team approaches the end of the show, they launch into the final phases of transforming the giant Rice Krispies square into the panda's head. They apply black fondant for the eyes, nose, and mouth, creating the perfect panda face.
