Ep 12. Rules of Engagement

Jim and Cheryl take a couples quiz in a magazine, which leads to an argument about the rules of their own engagement. Cheryl is upset that Jim doesn't remember significant moments in their relationship, like their first kiss and engagement. Jim argues that those moments aren't what defines their relationship and that their love is strong regardless. The argument escalates when Jim accuses Cheryl of being too controlling and trying to change him. Meanwhile, the rest of the family gets involved in a penny stock scheme that ends up causing chaos. In the end, Jim and Cheryl make up and realize that their love is about compromise and accepting each other's flaws.
