Ep 2. No Nookie

According to Jim is a comedy series that aired from 2001 to 2009. In the second episode of season one called No Nookie, Jim's wife, Cheryl, is tired of being the only one initiating sex in their relationship. She decides to stop having sex with Jim to see if he will step up and initiate it on his own, but things don't go as planned.

However, Cheryl is determined to get Jim to initiate sex and decides to stop having sex altogether until he does.

As the days go by, Jim becomes increasingly frustrated and desperate for sex. He tries everything from buying Cheryl flowers, to cleaning the house, to cooking her dinner, but nothing seems to work. Cheryl remains resolute in her plan and refuses to give in.

One night, Jim finally snaps and tells Cheryl that he's had enough. He accuses her of trying to manipulate him and make him feel guilty for not initiating sex. Cheryl responds by telling Jim that she just wants him to show her that he desires her.

Jim realizes that he's been too focused on being in control and not enough on showing Cheryl how much he loves her. He apologizes and promises to initiate sex more often. Cheryl forgives him and they go back to their old routine, only this time with Jim taking the lead more often.

The episode ends with Jim and Cheryl in bed, cuddling and discussing their plans for the weekend. Jim suggests they do something romantic like taking a hot air balloon ride, but Cheryl shuts him down. "Let's just enjoy each other's company," she says with a smile.

No Nookie is a funny and relatable episode that explores the dynamics of a married couple's sex life. It shows how important it is to communicate your needs and desires to your partner, and how easy it is to fall into patterns that can be harmful to a relationship. Jim and Cheryl's banter is entertaining, and their chemistry makes them a likable couple to watch. Overall, No Nookie is a great second episode that sets the tone for the rest of the series.
