Ep 9. A Woman Scorned

Zhou Fang finds herself dealing with a major setback when she learns that her ex-boyfriend, Tang Jun, is back in town. Tang Jun is now a famous singer, and Zhou Fang is still struggling to make ends meet as a journalist. Zhou Fang wants to avoid him at all costs, but fate has other plans. Zhou Fang is assigned to cover Tang Jun's concert, and she's forced to confront her past. When Zhou Fang gets to the concert, she sees Tang Jun with his new girlfriend. Zhou Fang is hurt, but she hides it well. However, as the night goes on, her resentment starts to build. Zhou Fang begins to plot her revenge against Tang Jun. She starts investigating his past, and she discovers some dark secrets that could destroy his career. Zhou Fang decides to confront Tang Jun and get her revenge. However, when she sees him again up close, she starts to question her motives. Zhou Fang must decide if revenge is worth sacrificing her own integrity. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Zhou Fang makes her decision.
