Ep 1. A Kiss

Accidentally in Love is a Chinese drama series that follows the story of Chen Qing Qing, a young girl who decides to run away from home after being ignored by her parents for not wanting to attend medical school. In the first episode, titled "A Kiss", we get introduced to the main character who is seen wandering around the city streets trying to find a place to stay. After getting robbed of her money, she runs into a group of street performers who call themselves YXJ, consisting of Tang Xiao Tian, Li Ma, Lu Zhiang, and Xin Yi.

The group offers Qing Qing a place to stay in exchange for her being their manager and helping them find a venue to perform. Qing Qing agrees and quickly finds out that her new job is not easy. She spends most of her time trying to scout out venues and sponsors for the group. One of the sponsors that Qing Qing approaches is Jiu Yue, a hotel owned by Ji Qing, who is the male lead in the story. Ji Qing is rich, successful and is known for his playboy ways. When Qing Qing approaches him about sponsoring YXJ, he rejects her proposal saying that he is not interested in sponsoring unknown talent.

However, Ji Qing changes his mind when he sees Qing Qing and is smitten by her. He decides to give YXJ a chance and sponsors them. Qing Qing and Ji Qing's paths cross multiple times, and a connection starts forming between them. Meanwhile, Qing Qing finds out that she has been set up by her roommate and her boyfriend, who leave the city and abandon Qing Qing in the process. As a result, Qing Qing is left without a place to stay or any money.

Ji Qing offers to help Qing Qing by letting her stay in his hotel. Qing Qing is initially hesitant but eventually agrees when she finds out that Ji Qing wishes to stay in a separate room and not have anything to do with her. However, their plans change when Ji Qing's ex-girlfriend comes back into the picture, and he needs Qing Qing's help to pretend to be his girlfriend to make his ex-girlfriend jealous.

The episode ends on an interesting note as Qing Qing and Ji Qing share a kiss. This kiss further complicates their relationship, and the audience is left wondering what will happen next.

The first episode of Accidentally in Love sets up the main characters and the story in a good way. We get to see Qing Qing as a determined young girl who is willing to take risks to follow her dreams. On the other hand, Ji Qing is portrayed as a successful and charming guy who is also struggling with his emotions.
