As the second season of A Place to Call Home continues, tension is high in the lives of our beloved characters. In episode 6, titled "Auld Lang Syne," we find ourselves at the end of another year, and the residents of Inverness are getting ready to celebrate the New Year.

On top of that, she's still reeling from the death of her son, and her relationship with her daughter, Anna (Abby Earl), is strained.

Meanwhile, the working-class residents of Inverness are getting ready for their own celebrations. There's a sense of camaraderie among them that is heartwarming to see. They're all looking forward to the New Year, even if they don't have much to celebrate. But there are hints of trouble brewing beneath the surface, as tensions rise between some of the residents.

As the clock strikes midnight, we're left with a sense of uncertainty about what the future holds for these characters. But one thing is clear: they will all have to confront the past in order to move forward.

Overall, "Auld Lang Syne" is a gripping episode that showcases the talents of the show's talented cast. It's an emotional rollercoaster that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
