Eunsuk becomes an anorexic after coming back to her family. Junsung thinks only Bokgu can cure her. He asks Bokgu to help Eunsuk but Bokgu refuses. However, Bokgu also suffers.

Eunsuk gets hurt from Minku's violent acts. Bokgu cries and yells at Eunsuk to leave from Minku and him. Although Dajung knows that Bokgu loves Eunsuk, she hopes Bokgu will return to her someday. Bokgu plans to spend a night with Dajung to put Eunsuk out of his mind.

Eunsuk finds out that Minku is alive, and meets him. Minku holds her tight, and does not let her go. Eunsuk decides to devote her life nursing Minku, and moves to the countryside with him. She tells Bokgu not to come to see them. One day Minku suddenly acts violently to Eunsuk.
