Their search takes them to a cave deep within the underworld, where they find the talisman. But they soon realize that the talisman can only be activated by a pure-hearted person, and Oh Gong, being a deity, cannot use it. Seon Mi, however, is more than willing to take on the task.
With the talisman in hand, Seon Mi and Oh Gong confront the demon once again. This time, Seon Mi successfully activates the talisman, banishing the demon and freeing the trapped souls.
As they make their way back to the mortal world, Seon Mi and Oh Gong reflect on their experiences in the underworld. Seon Mi realizes that she has grown much stronger and braver since meeting Oh Gong, while Oh Gong acknowledges the importance of having someone he can trust and rely on.
Back in the mortal world, Seon Mi and Oh Gong discover that their time in the underworld has caused them to lose their memories of one another. They are initially confused and disoriented but are eventually able to recall their past experiences together.
The episode ends with Seon Mi and Oh Gong embracing each other, realizing that their bond is stronger than ever before.
