Crime thriller based on the true story of Acid Bath Murderer John George Haigh, whose cold-blooded killing spree caused a sensation in the 1940s. Haigh's suave public face and matinee idol looks were in startling contrast to the grisly murders carried out in the 'workshop' of his ordinary suburban home. Starring Martin Clunes (Men Behaving Badly, Hunting Venus) and Keeley Hawes (Othello, Wives And Daughters).
Description
This TV series is based on the life of a real serial killer in the 1940's. After he murdered his victims he would get rid of the bodies by melting them in acid. He killed 6 people by putting them in acid.
