Ep 3. The Calling

In season 4 episode 3 of the supernatural series "A Haunting," titled "The Calling," viewers are taken to a small town in Illinois where a family of four has recently moved into a Victorian-era home. They quickly notice strange activity happening throughout the house, including unexplained noises and movements, as well as objects moving on their own.

The family initially tries to chalk up these occurrences to the stresses of moving into a new home, but soon they realize that something much more sinister is at work. They begin experiencing terrifying and violent encounters with what they believe to be a malevolent presence in their home.

Desperate for help, they reach out to a paranormal investigation team in the hopes of finding some answers and relief from the unrelenting terror they're experiencing. The team sets up various cameras and recording devices in the home to try and capture any evidence of the paranormal activity that's been reported.

As the investigation progresses, the team begins to uncover the dark history of the home and the land it was built on. They discover that the property was once used as a kind of sanctuary for an extremist religious cult, who believed that they were being called by a higher power to carry out violent and dangerous acts.

The team begins to believe that the energy of the land and the history of the cult have somehow manifested into a malevolent presence that's now terrorizing the family in the home. But as they delve deeper into their investigation, they also begin to realize that the situation is more complex and dangerous than they ever could have imagined.

Throughout the episode, viewers are taken on a thrilling ride as the paranormal investigation team attempts to unravel the sinister mysteries of the home and protect the family from the dangerous forces at work. With suspenseful reenactments and gripping interviews with those involved, "The Calling" is an episode not to be missed by fans of paranormal and supernatural horror.
